Medical acupuncture is a medical service that uses sterile, single-use needles inserted into specific points on the body to help relieve pain, improve physical function, and enhance quality of life.

Research suggests that acupuncture may work by stimulating the nervous system, promoting the release of natural substances such as endorphins, and helping regulate pain responses and the body's healing processes.

At Royal Progress Hospital, medical acupuncture is provided by qualified Medical Acupuncture Specialists who combine an Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) approach with individualized treatment tailored to each patient's condition and needs.

Acupuncture may be used as a primary therapy for selected conditions or as a complementary treatment alongside conventional medical care and rehabilitation programs.

Our medical acupuncture services may help manage a variety of conditions, including:

  • Back, Neck, and Joint Pain — May help reduce pain associated with disorders of the muscles, ligaments, and joints, including osteoarthritis and chronic pain that interferes with daily activities.
  • Headaches and Migraines — May help reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine and headache episodes.
  • Stress, Anxiety, and Sleep Disorders — May promote relaxation and support overall physical and mental well-being.
  • Smoking and Nicotine Dependence — May be considered as a complementary approach to support smoking cessation programs and reduce nicotine dependence.
  • Digestive Disorders — May help relieve symptoms associated with conditions such as dyspepsia, bloating, and functional digestive disorders.

After C-section at the Royal Progress Sunter Hospital. with Doctor Andrew Putranagara Sp.OG.. The doctor is good. Humble. We also received an alert. We were afraid of having an C-section. But he was able to calm us down.

Alhamdulillah seneng rasanya dengan pelayanan RS Royal, masuk igd dpt pelayanan dengan baik. Karena keluhan sy dtg bulan yg sudah 18hr, gk nunggu lama dr. Spesialisnya dtg, dengan sigap keluhan yg saya rasakan langsung di cek dengan usg. Dan hasilnya dikarenakan ada penebalan dinding rahim yg disarankan utk kuret. Padahal awalnya sy takut tp dr. Andrew.spog siap menjelaskan dengan detail. Tidak lupa terimakasih juga utk dr.jaga ,para perawat, dan OB yg sudah membantu kami bbrp hr diruang ranap. Walaupun kami kurang suka dengan menu makanannya yg setiap hari telur. Hehehehe... Sekali lg terima kasih utk dr. Andrew. spog dan semua kru rumah sakit

Pelayanan rumah sakitnya bagus. Suster dan dokternya ramah2.. pengalaman operasi pertama kali ga bikin trauma.. dokternya saya pakai dokter Andrew Putranegara Spog.. dokternya penjelasannya sangat detail. Ramah. Sabar. Dan ga bikin takut pasien.. Dari anak pertama sampai anak ketiga di rs ini.. untuk perawatan keluarga juga saya pilih rumah sakit ini karna dokter2 nya pengalaman dan rata2 cocok untuk kami. semoga rs royal progress sukses selalu.

Terima Kasih Banyak Rs Royal Progress , Terutama saya berTerima Kasih Banyak dengan Dr Andrew Putranagara, Sp.OG yang Sudah Menyelamatkan Hidup Saya , Sedikit cerita , saya dulu pernah berobat ke 2 Rs karena Kegguran berulang 4x , dan tidak terdeteksi adanya kehamilan Di luar Rahim ,Hasil yg saya terima Kuguguran saja , Berkat Dokter Andrew 30 Menit sebelum Operasi Usus Buntu,tiba2 ada diagnosa Lain yang di temui Dr Andrew ya itu kehamilan di Luar rahim , Dengan Kondisi yang sudah Bocor (Hampir pecah) , Untung ada Dokter Andrew yang sigap dan Cepat menemui kasus yg saya alami dan Dr Andrew sangat cepat menangani Operasi saya. Terima Kasih banyak Dr Andrew tanpa Dokter mungkin saya tidak ada Hari ini.

Saya opname karena HB anjlok parah sehingga harus transfusi (HB hanya 4). Saya opname dari tanggal 1 - 4 November 2024. Saya ditangani oleh dr. Johny J.Bahirwani SpOG. Sejak saya masuk sampai saya pulang, saya mendapat pelayanan yang sangat baik dari Dokter Johny, termasuk dari Dokter Jaga dan semua Kakak2 Perawat yang bertugas, team Lab, team Farmasi termasuk Mba Security dan Mba2 Petugas Kebersihan yang rutin bersihin ruangan saya, juga team Pantry/Makanan yang baik yg selalu kasih saya air panas :) ... Bahkan seminggu setelah pulang saya datang kembali untuk kontrol, saya tetap dilayani dengan baik dan profesional. Terimakasih untuk semuanya, semoga semakin sukses semakin jaya dan God Bless U all :)
